My First Post

Hello Everyone,

It took me two years to write my first Blog after creating my ID. Please don't go on my ID of World Today, initially when I had made this id I had few things to write about the World like Recession, Economy, India US difference related to economic, socio-political, cultural difference etc etc etc. But once people get busy with their work and want to set in life then things like this take backseat specially for people like me who don't like to read much, don't like to write much.

During these two years there were many ups and downs in the life personally, professionally. This is start of my career so up and downs is normal tendency and probably will stay with me for next few years. The surprising thing was which people don't realize during college/younger days is personal life which will be upside down once you step on your own in real world. For some it will with their partners but for most of them it will be with your friends.

As I progressed lost few friends but got many new friends also but as its said nothing is permanent in life so lost most of them also on the way. So in today's world any youngster reading can either expect himself/herself or prepared to face it, because many face it bravely while I have seen few of them breaking away so don't want any of my more friends to be in such situation.

When we talk about professionally, all these years we have seen people getting rejected being under qualified but now a days lot of people and including me have faced this sorry you are over qualified for this job. At the end I use to think why qualification is all the interviewer looks at the end.

This was proved right when I started taking lot of interviews this year as that is a pre-requisite from higher management/HR. Initially I was not able to do anything but slowly slowly as I made progressed in the organisation I tried to changed this criteria and started looking for an overall candidate rather then these basic criteria s like education and all and somewhat I am successful in doing this.

There is one thing for which I found lot of difference between US and India. I mean the innovativeness, for e.g. if a person either in school/office gets an innovative idea and if there is 10% chance of getting successful then that person gets full support for that work unlike in India where is has to be atleast 90%chance or else it will be rejected right away. I am true Indian but have to say it that is why America is country of such innovators while we Indians work hard and do excellent service.

We need to push such innovators, I know lot of people face failure but if even 1 out of 5 genuine ideas gets successful then surely this country be real world power sooner then it is expected to be one. The other most important thing is dependency on US and European nations which our country has on them and the best e.g. is our IT sector. When our dependency will be out then there won't be any issues and as we India there is no looking back for India for next 50years atleast and I am proud to be part when India's golden period is starting.

I am logging off from my first post but trust me I don't know what all I wrote right from personal to professional to one of the difference between India v/s US which I have encountered personally.

To end it up I will say CHANGE is the only answer for above things. Its the change which should happen and where change happens automatically the sooner you accept it will be better for you.

Have to finish this but I will be back with my second post very soon probably this week only.

Cheers
